Junior Scrapateers: Sweet Little Sister

Hello! It’s Meredith here with another edition of our Junior Scrapateers blog series, where we feature young digital scrapbook artists and encourage them to use their imaginations!

Today, we are back with Princess Al. She is an 11 year old digital scrapbooker. Today, Princess Al is sharing a layout with us that she created about her adorable little sister. Now, I have to say… the words “sweet little sister” are rarely uttered in our home. My younger daughter is a bit of an instigator. So, it is quite refreshing to see a big sister being so sweet about her little sister!

Here is what Princess Al had to say about her page:

Now that I am getting more comfortable with digital scrapbooking it is getting easier and I always have so much fun. I am glad I m getting to learn all these cool tips and tricks, and I have a new hobby!

I just really love how Princess Al composed her page. She used some of my pre-made clusters to make it a bit quicker, but you can still see the personal touches she added to her page. I really like how she used the paint on top of her photo. I have a tendency to tuck it behind things, but I really love her placement. And of course, that title is just adorable!

Junior Scrapateers: LilScrapper9

Hello! It’s Meredith here with our very first Junior Scrapateers article! I am so excited to see the beautiful digital scrapbook pages these girls have made!

Today, we are meeting LilScrapper9. She is 8 years old and she is using PSPXI to create her pages.

Here is what LilScrapper9 had to say about her page:

I picked the kit “A Brand New Day” because it matched the memorial day pictures I had. My mom taught me how to make the pictures pop out from the page so it will look cooler.

I really love that she chose a kit that matches her photo colors so well. I also really like how she stacked her embellishments and used shadowing to make them “pop”! Beautiful page, LilScrapper9! Thanks for sharing your memories with us!
