Howdy! It’s Meredith here with another edition of the blog series Junior Scrapateers. Junior Scrapateers was created to encourage young people to digital scrapbook and express their creativity.
Today, we have another beautiful layout from Ashlyn. Ashlyn is nine years old. Today she is sharing a layout about a hair cut! And it’s certainly an adorable hair cut!
I can’t believe how much hair she cut off! The new style certainly suits her! Ashlyn did a fabulous job on her page! I love the placement of her page title and the small cluster of flowers next to the title. Keep up the good work, Ashlyn! Your pages are really adorable!

Hello again! It’s Meredith here with another edition of Junior Scrapateers, our blog series that celebrates children who happen to digital scrapbook.
Today, we get to meet a fun girl named Ashlyn. Ashlyn is nine years old and uses Photoshop CS3 to create her digital scrapbook pages. Ashlyn’s mom is a talented template designer, Scrapping With Liz. Apparently, the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree! Ashlyn created a beautiful page to share with us today.
Wow! I love this layout! The colors in the kit are a perfect complement to the bright colors and playful feeling of her photos. Ashlyn is a girl after my own heart- I love umbrellas! I don’t necessarily love to use them, I just think they are pretty! And Ashlyn has a couple of really cute ones. Ashlyn used one of her mom’s fabulous templates to create this layout. I really like how she clipped the solid papers onto the template banner shapes. What a perfect solution when you don’t have banners in a kit already! The playful font she chose is a really nice finishing touch as well. Keep up the good work, Ashlyn! We can’t wait to see what you create next!
